The next day, the streets echoed with the clash of steel and the thunderous roar of a giant troll. 

Zenith, Emi, and Asuka stood ready to face the hulking mass of muscle and fangs that lumbered before them.

The troll, its grotesque features twisted in a snarl, raised its spiked club high above its head.

Emi lunged forward, her dagger as quick as a cracking whip as she slashed at the creature's thick legs, drawing pools of black blood. 

The troll roared and staggered backward, its movements growing sluggish as Emi's attacks wore it down. 

Seizing the opportunity, Zenith channeled her necrotic energy, dark tendrils snaking from her fingertips and coalescing into a pulsing orb of shadow.

She hurled a {Necrotic Orb} at the creature's chest. 

The sphere detonated on impact, a shockwave of dark energy rippling through the troll's flesh, eliciting a deafening howl of agony.
