"Date him?", I scoffed. No way in hell that would ever happen, especially with him. Crazy.

"Yeah, we're just friends with benefits-", I quickly covered his mouth. The corner of his lips tipped upward into a smug smile when he was silenced by me. He seemed to be enjoying having my hand against his mouth, it only made it easier for him to taunt the guy who had been pursuing me for quite some time. He placed one of his hands over my hand that was covering his mouth as he leaned closer to my ear. "What's wrong with telling him that we've done everything a man and a woman can do? It's not like you like him, do you?", he spoke against my palm, which came out sounded like muffles. He turned his gaze towards the guy in front of him. He gave him a taunting look. He felt smug and proud after earning a cold look from the guy.

Dylan Usher is a 26-year-old man. The same goes for the protagonist, Helena Valenti, a woman who is just a few months older than him. The two of them met each other at school but got separated for a few years. As if they were meant for each other, fate brought them back together, but more sensually and erotically.
