Xie Limo saw the gentle look on Yun Bixue's face as he tilted down his head. His expression softened. He kissed her hair, and asked tenderly, "Didn't I ask you to sleep early?"

Yun Bixue held Xie Limo's hand and muttered, "I can't sleep. I wanted to wait for you." She was used to having him by her side. If he hadn't returned, she would be worried sick.

She was aware that he will be very busy after celebrating the new year. He had a lot of issues to deal with, and he wasn't having an easy time too. Therefore, she was doing her best to show careful consideration for him.

She hoped that he would be able to have a warm meal the moment he comes home. She wanted him to feel the warmth of having a family.
