Zhong Lingling prepared breakfast for Xiang Yimo, and in order to make it easy for him to swallow, she made a very thin vegetable porridge. After forcefully feeding him some, Zhong Lingling began to prepare the equipment needed for the basement.

She packed a bag with some dry food and water. The biggest problem with the basement was that when you come out, you had to go through a very long secret passage, which had no lights and was extremely dark. Therefore, the lighting was the most critical issue. Zhong Lingling brought two flashlights and a hooded plastic coat to avoid coming out of the passage looking like she had been bombarded by cannons.

Additionally, she brought a thick rope tied with an iron hook for climbing walls.

Once everything was ready, Zhong Lingling called Xiaobing and told her she had something to take care of and needed to go back to her parents' house for a day, asking her to take care of Xiang Yimo!
