Bab 23: I'm moving through the hierarchy pretty fast, is this even legal?
With his victory over the giant, Alex had proven himself to be a Transcendent being. But he knew that there were still beings above him, and he was determined to surpass them as well.
He set his sights on the next target on his list - a Celestial Entity. He traveled through space, his senses guiding him towards his destination. As he approached, he felt the immense power emanating from the entity.
The Celestial Entity was a being of pure light, its body constantly shifting and changing. It looked at Alex with curiosity.
"You are a powerful being," it said. "What brings you here?"
"I seek to surpass even the most powerful beings in the multiverse," Alex replied. "And I believe that I can do it."
The Celestial Entity chuckled. "You are ambitious, I'll give you that. But do you understand what it means to be a Celestial Entity?"
Alex shrugged. "I understand that it means immense power, beyond what most beings can comprehend."
The Celestial Entity nodded. "That is true. But it also means responsibility. We are the protectors of the multiverse, the guardians of all that exists. It is not a task to be taken lightly."
Alex grinned. "I'm ready for the challenge. Are you?"
The Celestial Entity's expression grew serious. "Very well. Let us see what you are capable of."
The battle was intense, with Alex using all of his new powers to try and gain the upper hand. But the Celestial Entity was a master of its own abilities, and the fight lasted for what felt like an eternity.
Finally, Alex emerged victorious once again. He stood over the defeated Celestial Entity, feeling the rush of power coursing through his veins once more. But this time, there was something different. A sense of respect, of understanding.
He realized that power alone was not enough to become the strongest being in the multiverse. He would need to combine it with wisdom and responsibility, just as the Celestial Entities did.
And so, with a newfound sense of purpose, Alex set his sights on the next target on his list - a Primordial Deity. Some may ask how he's able to access higher dimensions, it's an ability of his, he can access it but to truly be a being of that dimension, he has to defeat one.
