Rigel and Kiko left the dungeon and enjoyed the scenery of the vast sea with a chill breeze hitting their faces. Kiko was still processing the information she got from Rigel and tried to keep her promise to keep it a secret from anyone.
"Is there a reason why you trusted me with this secret? I'm not close to you, and there are people from Earth who are closer to you than me," Kiko looked at Rigel as she squinted her eyes because of the sunlight.
"Because I'm being selfish," Rigel sat down on the edge, letting his legs hang down. "Back on Earth, even though I had a mother, she was worse than the people that were hurting me," he explained.
Kiko never knew about Rigel's past, so she sat down beside Rigel and quietly listened to him.
