Penelope's POV

"Do you trust me? If you do close your eyes." I really don't know if I should trust him or not, gosh!!!

I thought about a lot of things in seconds, when I thought I was about to get raped he saved me at the right time, he also saved me from that aggressive lady and I am certain he can do it again, I really don't know how, but I am going to trust him, I know Don Lucas will save me again.

I closed my eyes immediately and hoped for the better, but it's okay if he failed; he tried his best; will he be able to take out these men on his own? But who are they anyway? Are they his enemies? Is he used to unexpected encounters like this?

Suddenly I heard the sound of gunshots, but it wasn't really that loud, but I am certain it was the sound of a bullet being fired.
