Bab 144: Love For Romance

A few paused, others walked too slowly. They wanted to see what gift the duchess would give to her rival in love. Hazel's maid was wrapping a fresh silk cloth on her palm.

She took the signal and walked to Daisy to get the gift box,

"Thank you, your grace." To the disappointment of the guests, the box did not open. Hazel took the box inside with her. Eve sighed as the guests left. Suddenly she felt her shoulders were sore and her body looked exhausted.

"You are not following her to the physician's room, your grace?" Cherie asked in a worried voice when Even shook her head. It was enough drama for today. And suddenly her feet felt cold with the thought of following her enemy in her liar.

It reminded her of the time she had returned from the academy with Harold and Elene had trapped her in her own palace.
