Bab 26: Chapter 26
Axel apologized to Charlotte for his behavior all this time which made Charlotte restless. He promised to try to be better to his wife on the conditions given. The state is that Charlotte can no longer ask about Axel's past and also doesn't interfere in his personal affairs anymore. Axel also asserts that their marriage is of agreement, not based on love that binds them and demands harmony.
"Why do you have to give conditions?" asked Charlotte.
"Why do you always demand more? I'm trying to be nice to you," Axel said.
Charlotte lowered her head and resigned herself to what Axel said. Her husband was already willing to be nice to her; Charlotte should be grateful. Axel remained silent and acted as though he didn't like this marriage. If not with Axel, Charlotte doing this marriage, maybe he would have almost died receiving unpleasant treatment.
Finally, they returned to their room to continue their sleep. Axel didn't want any more questions from his parents when they were late for breakfast or gave an unsightly look on their faces.
"I ask for your cooperation too when in front of my parents, just act normal," said Axel.
"I always act normal, even trying to be a good daughter-in-law. Is it something like that you just can't figure it out? What do you see in me, Axel? There is not any." Charlotte left just like that, leaving Axel.
A slap to Axel, who never really paid attention to the people closest to him. He also feels guilty when he demands a lot from his wife, who tries to be the best while living in his royal environment.
Again, Axel felt there was nothing he could do for his happiness. His life seems to be responsible for the happiness of the people around him. His father, his mother, even now, his wife had to take care of his feelings and happiness. For a moment, Axel felt tired and wanted to get away from this suffocating environment. Perhaps, it would be better if he followed his best friend, Remanu, to another universe far away.

Darkness turned to light, and the sun began to reveal itself, welcoming all creatures in the world. Axel woke up with the glare of the sun shining through the window. When Axel woke up and tried to wake himself up, he didn't find his wife on the bed.
The king stretched his body, and he had to hurry to have breakfast with his parents and his wife, although he still didn't know where his wife was. Axel believes that if Charlotte is still annoyed with him, he knows he should try to persuade his wife so that things like this don't happen. Axel doesn't know what to say to his parents if he doesn't go to the dining room with his wife.
Axel tried to call his wife, but he received no answer. He wasn't sure if the wife had already gone out to meet her mother and father because they had discussed this last night. Not wanting to think much anymore, Axel went straight to the bathroom to clean up.
"I can't believe he's really not in the room," said Axel, who entered the bathroom and didn't see Charlotte there.
When Axel was in the bathroom, he heard the sound of his bedroom door opening. His curiosity arose; Axel immediately took his nightgown, which he had taken off and went out to confirm if it was his wife. It turned out that the person who opened the door was indeed his wife.
"Charlotte." axel immediately called his wife.
However, when Charlotte saw Axel, she immediately turned around and covered her eyes. Axel was confused by his wife's attitude.
"What happened to you?"
"You'd better get on with your bath and then come out dressed," Charlotte said.
"Is there something wrong with me?" When Axel asked and looked at himself, he only realized that his nightgown was not correctly attached.
Axel turned around and apologized to Charlotte. He immediately went back into the bathroom to finish his shower. Axel also felt relieved to see Charlotte in their room. However, he also doesn't know whether his wife has met her parents or not.

After bathing, Axel came out and saw Charlotte was packing things to dive. He was curious what his wife would do; of course, these items would be brought to his private room. Axel also asked his wife, but the answer Charlotte gave was a little uncomfortable to hear.
"Are you going to continue it in your room?"
"According to you? doesn't that need to be asked again?" replied Charlotte.
"Maybe you will do activities with my mother," said Axel.
"No, I'll be doing everything alone for now," Charlotte replied, "Hurry up and get ready, your mom and dad must be waiting for us."
Axel nodded his head and put on clothes that were hanging neatly. Charlotte prepared the clothes while her husband was in the bathroom. Axel felt relieved that Charlotte still paid little attention to him. He also felt like he was being tested right now after the midnight conversation in the palace garden.
In the middle of Axel getting ready to put on clothes, Charlotte, who had finished packing her embroidering things, said she would first meet Axel's father and mother. Considering Axel woke up late this morning, surely their morning schedule would also be a mess. Charlotte didn't want her father and mother-in-law's health to be compromised because they were late for breakfast.
"Hurry up and come to the dining room, I'd say you woke up late because you're tired."
"Shouldn't we be together?" said Axel.
"Poor mom and dad have waited so long," replied Charlotte. He rushed out of the room without even seeing Axel.
Axel couldn't say anything; he also thought about the condition of his parents. Moreover, his father had a history of poor health. However, seeing Charlotte's cold attitude made Axel feel very guilty. He seemed to be confronted by himself while treating Charlotte; could this be karma? Axel shook his head; he tried not to think strangely about everything that happened. Charlotte is just in a bad mood; if Axel tries to get close to Charlotte again, the queen of the kingdom of Nirvana will come back as before.
After satisfied with his preparations this morning, Axel left his room to follow his wife and parents. He thought that her mother and father must ask Charlotte many questions; Axel didn't want to cause Charlotte more trouble. Moreover, he had already said everything when they were in the palace garden at midnight that night.
