Bab 24: Chapter 24
Axel was tired. He didn't know how long he had been walking through the forest. Finally, he saw the light from the end of the path in front of him, which looked like a settlement. Axel immediately ran to get out of this forest and asked anyone he met for help.
When Axel came out of the forest, he was back in a place full of sparkling street lights and buildings that he had never seen before. This place looked the same as when he had met Remanu in his dream yesterday. Axel again wonders, is this also a dream? Somehow it happened, but his thoughts came to the question.
After getting out of the forest and being in the settlement, Axel asked for help and asked the mother, who was selling sugarcane juice on the side of the road.
"Mother, may I have some water?" asked Axel.
The mother saw Axel from head to toe, and pity began to arise because Axel's clothes were so shabby and dirty. He also still held a stick that helped him through the forest.
"You're so dirty, is your stomach hungry too? Sit down, I'll give you something to eat and drink," said the saleswoman.
Axel was fortunate this time; he also thanked the mother and sat in the back area where she sold it. Axel looked around again because it was possible that he would meet Remanu here again.
The saleswoman returned to Axel to provide food and drinks. He also asked the handsome young man where he came from. The sales lady also didn't recognize and felt that Axel was not a resident. Axel also tried to tell everything to the mother.
"I'm not from here, and I'm out of the woods…." Axel looked in the direction he came out of, but there was no forest at all around there. All places are filled with high-rise buildings.
The mother felt that there was something wrong with Axel and looked at Axel with pity. He sees Axel as insane for speaking something that doesn't exist. However, he only wanted to help.
"Come on, just eat, eat. If it's not enough, you can ask me again." Soon a buyer came, and the mother said goodbye to serve.

After eating, Axel said goodbye to the seller to leave. He had to go home because his family would look for him and worry about him. The mother also gave Axel a large amount of paper money, but Axel didn't know how to use it.
In the kingdom of nirvana, they use gold coins for shopping or can be exchanged for goods. They will only count the number of gold coins without any definite nominal of each currency. When he saw the paper called money, and his mother told him to buy food, Axel thought hard, but he took it anyway.
"T-thank you, Mom."
"Be careful on the road," said the seller's mother.
Axel walked back to the place, many selling food and other knick-knacks. Many shops sell clothes and display them on a doll. Axel felt so confused because the clothes on display looked not fully finished. He also thought it was possible; people would ask to be resolved according to their request.
Along the way, Axel was also in the spotlight, all eyes were on him, and many people openly called him insane and strange. However, Axel didn't want to respond to all those words; he kept walking.
Finally, Axel saw someone who looked like a thief in the Nirvana Kingdom market last time, and the person who was with Remanu in his dream some time ago. The man was taking money from a cake seller on the side of the road. Axel became angry and immediately chased the man.
"In my market he is a thief, and here he is a blackmailer. You trash!" Axel said, expressing his emotions.
The man kept walking, holding a cake and a drink in his hand. He doesn't look like the wrong person with a clean, tidy look and well-groomed hair. However, Axel had judged him as a laborer because of the events in the market.
"Hey, wait!" Axel shouted.
The man just kept walking and ignored Axel at all. However, Axel's pace was relatively fast, and he could catch up with the man. Finally, they met, and Axel managed to face the man he thought was the same.
"Give back the seller's money. You are a thief as well as a blackmailer," said Axel.
Confusedly the man frowned and looked at Axel in surprise. He also looked at Axel from head to toe because the king of the Nirvana Kingdom was very different from the appearance of the people around him.
The man didn't answer Axel's words; he just tried to release Axel's grip from his hand because someone was waiting for him. However, Axel didn't want to let the man escape again after making a fool of himself at the market yesterday.
"I won't let you go again this time," Axel said.
"I don't know who you are, freak!" replied the man.
Axel was surprised to hear his people speak disrespectfully to him. He got even angrier and gripped the man's hand even more. Axel does not accept the treatment of the man he considers to be his people.

Meanwhile, Charlotte, who woke up from her dream and was finishing her knitting, again heard the delirium from her husband. This time, Axel's screaming sounded alarming until Charlotte was surprised and put the thread in the wrong hole. Because of that, Charlotte could be annoyed with Axel and wanted to wake him up immediately, but she stopped her intention because she didn't want to get into trouble with her husband. He was still angry over what had happened earlier.
"If I didn't think you were mad at me, I would have kicked you out of bed," Charlotte said, looking at her husband.
Charlotte corrected her messy knitting and started again. She let her husband go back to sleep with nightmares that may continue.
Sure enough, the dream continues for Axel. He is dealing with a thief in his kingdom who still holds the man and tries to bring the thief to justice. However, as the debate deepened, a hand grabbed Axel's wrist and released it from the thief's hand.
Axel was angry that his hand was just let go, but his eyes started to water when he saw who released his hand. Yes, it was his friend who was willing to die for him, that hand was Remanu's hand, but the face of his friend and warlord looked very angry without a smile.
"R-remanu," Axel mumbled. His tears immediately fell when the name left his lips; his body also instantly stiffened.
After that, without saying anything, Remanu took the thief man away from in front of Axel with an angry face. Axel could only see the two walking away and disappearing from before him.
Axel finally woke up sweating and also surprised. When he wakes up, he realizes that his tears have soaked his pillow, and his wife stares at him intently with knitting needles in hand. Axel felt himself being threatened.
