A few months had passed, and today was Max’s inauguration day.

I watched with pride as Mom passed Max the Alpha King’s crown.

“Ari, Ari,” Iris nudged me. “Look at our mate! He’s looking sooooo handsome!”

I laughed as I heard my wolf. “He always looks handsome.”

“I know, but those special Alpha King clothes make him look even dapper,” she howled proudly.

The special inauguration clothes were actually ordinary black suits with embroideries of wolves on them in the color of the new royal pack. My dress was the same, too, and to be honest, Max did look... handsome and majestic, just like a King should be.

Next, Mom and Dad came to me and placed the Queen crown on my head.

“Luna Queen,” Dad and Mom greeted me by my title, and I could see Mom getting teary, which made me teared up, too.

“Alright, you two, stop with the tearworks. We still need to socialize with the guests,” Dad mindlinked us, which made Mom and me laugh.
