Bab 145: #145-Who Is He?

Edmund Gerwyn ran while pointing his sword at the red-bodied, horned monster in front of him.

The Duke jumped onto the huge body of the terrifying monster and directly slashed its neck. In one slash, the monster's neck broke and its head rolled across the road. Blood spurted everywhere and even stained Edmund's handsome face but the man didn't care. He landed on the asphalt perfectly and cleaned his blood-stained sword.

"Duke, are you okay?" asked one of the knights that Edmund had brought from his mansion. Edmund nodded and glanced sharply around him.

"Have you found the Duchess?" Edmund asked back in a cold tone.

"Not yet, Duke," the Knight shook his head. "Some of us have been looking for the Duchess's whereabouts but until now the Duchess has not been found."
