Lucretius, accompanied by Spriggan, Barbatos and Astaroth, walked down the hallway leading to the chambers of Melgalius.

Melgalius' chambers were separated from all other chambers, as a form of veneration. It was customary for no one to stay on the same floor as Melgalius.

"I take it your plans failed..?" 

Lord Spriggan was questioned by Lucretius about the failed attempt to revive Vermugand. 

"Unfortunately.."

Despite his role being solely to observe and report back to Melgalius, Spriggan felt responsible for the failure. 

"Even with the War Dragon out of the picture? Disappointment."

Although he said this, his face didn't show any significant expression of expectation. 

Lucretius had previously urged Greerheart to leave the Black Trinity, as he knew the individual could not be killed and would have posed a significant obstacle to the resurrection plan.
