Bab 229: What Makes It Worse

Tianshi Xue wanted to gossip. She wanted to know what actually transpired between the princesses' fight. Who was telling the truth? Was there really something between Emperor Guang and Princess Twinkle? She was starting to feel bad about Princess Zhenzhen, she just got her face scratched and she found out that the young emperor might not actually marry her.

But first, she started to follow Prince Qui out of the ballroom. "Are you going to scold me for not doing anything?" he asked her. "Like how it happened with Lady Nia?"

"No," Tianshi Xue answered, feeling annoyed that Prince Qui thought she was thinking the worst of him. "Even if I turn the world upside down, Princess Twinkle crossed the line when she scratched Princess Zhenzhen's face. HER FACE."

"I'm just glad that it wasn't me who had to carve her face."

"Would you have done worst?"

"Probably."
