Bab 84: Start of Your Fall

Tianshi Xue was directed back to the infirmary. "Is it my fault?" she asked Master Jung who was busily tending on her arm.

"None of this is your fault, Your Highness."

Her whole arm felt numbed but even then she didn't have enough courage to look at what was happening as the needle and thread passed through her skin. "How is it not?"

"Humans are greedy beings. They are also envious. It was not your fault that the late Lady Nia had wanted your position and the only way that she could compensate was to say ill things about you, which then resulted in her untimely death. Now her family were the ones who wanted to seek revenge even though it was their member who had done wrong." Master Jung continued his work. "None of that is your fault."
