As Prince Qui was explaining everything, it was like nothing was making sense. He knew that he was trying to make her understand, but he was losing hope with the way that her eyes were staring blankly at him.

"I really have to do it," he said, trying to reach for her, but she stepped away from his grasp. There was a tightening feeling on his chest, but he knew that Tianshi Xue was hurting.

The silence was almost deafening. He did not know what else to tell her. He already told her everything that he could without causing her trouble. This was really not going as well as he thought.
