The knowledge of the modified manual entered Liu Kang's brain instantly. Because he had learned instantly he immediately circulated the manual. When the manual had circulated, his Qi seemed to have changed slightly. The difference was, his Qi path flowed in reverse. Normally Qi would be absorbed through the entire body and directly into the Profound Veins then into the Profound Doors then circulated to the Meridians.

However, the use of Yuan Qi was different. It was absorbed directly from the entire body and flowed directly into the Meridians past the Profound Door and ended up in the Profound Veins.
