Bab 54: To be a Man

Just a while earlier, Kilgon made his way to the nearest tavern. The building was large and at the intersection of a street. It was made of stone with a white plaster finish and the doors swung open and closed. Being short due to his being a dwarf his head was right at the bottom of the doors, which hung at the center of the door. He opened the doors and entered, no one paid him any mind, since nonhumans were common in this kingdom.

Kilgon looked around and took a deep breath. "Ah the smell of booze and debauchery, this is my kind of place!" He said excitedly at the aromas that he just inhaled. He found the bar in the back and walked over to it. He found an open chair next to a beautiful woman enjoying an ale. She was dressed in a simple linen dress and had long red hair that was pulled back with a ribbon. She had green eyes and a set of freckles on her cheeks with pale smooth skin.

As Kilgon got on his chair she paid him no mind and just continued to drink her ale.
