She stood at the top of a large tree, the chilly wind breezing past her, a golden halo shielding her from the heavy rain.

"Then are you going to let her have the boy you love?"

The child Azariah asked, his gaze dropping to his side.

At the end of his gaze, a wall of flame burned everything in its path.

The very flame reflected in Ashlyn's eyes.

"...No," Ashlyn replied to his question, "...I'm not giving him to anyone."

"Then how are you going to win him over?" The younger version of Azariah asked.

"I'll think about that later," Ashlyn replied before jumping onto another branch, "first, I need to find where Azariah is."

The younger version of Azariah hovered in the air, following her as she moved.
