The sharp voice of Professor Kala cut through the air. As I turned toward her, I saw her approaching, her expression serious. Following closely behind her was my senior grunt, No. 147, hurrying after the professor's advance.

The professor quickly approached me and then poked her finger at my large chest in a demanding manner.

"You were trying to make a loan, weren't you?" she accused.

"W-what?! How did you know?!" I was quite surprised by her sudden accusation. She was indeed right. I did try to ask for a loan. Had she heard me about to say it to Miss Service Counter Grunt No. 387? Or was I that obvious?

"I knew it." She had a disappointed expression upon learning that her assumption was right. She shook her head as if to show her disappointment in me. "Sigh... how can you be so lame?"
