Bab 263: (263) The Three Zeks

The black Slime waited for his friend to come back. First for a few hours, then a day... then multiple days. 

Geth could feel both sadness and loneliness building up in the Slime. It kept its senses extended, waiting for its friend to return.

After one week, the same burly guard returned, but there was no sign of Shar. The man took the cage of the Elf-Golem out next.

This process continued. Every week for many months, the guard would enter... and then leave with another experiment.

The Slime's loneliness turned to depression. It had no one to talk to, and it felt that its friend would never return.

Most of its time was spent in its Elven form, playing with the small flame that its friend had enjoyed. It wanted to show Shar a new trick when he returned!

That thought was strong enough that Geth could feel it. He felt pity for the little guy.
