Dante's POV

That evening, I rushed into the hospital, carrying Ashley in my arms. I had to tell one of my guards, known for his fast driving, to take us to the hospital, as I feared I might drive off the cliff while worrying about Ashley's health.

She wouldn't open her eyes, her heartbeat was frighteningly slow, and her temperature dropped just in a few minutes.

"Where the hell are the nurses? I need help right now!" I shouted, attracting the eyes of everyone.

Nurses swarmed us with a stretcher, their faces filled with concern.

"You're going to be alright." I didn't know if that sentence was for me or Ashley because I couldn't leave the stretcher. I followed the nurses until we reached the emergency room.

"Sir, you need to stay here," one of the nurses ordered, stopping me from entering the emergency room.

"What do you mean to stay here? She needs help!" I snarled, trying to force my way in, but the nurse managed to hold me back.
