Bab 45: Chapter 45

Dante's POV

"Ashley, please wait!" I screamed, but she didn't listen. Afraid of what might happen to her as she turned into a wolf and took off, I quickly shifted and chased after her.

"Ashley! Ashley!" I kept on screaming, but I had lost her. It was all my fault. I shouldn't have let her leave.

I only wanted to respect her decision; and see where that had gotten me. I was currently standing in the middle of nowhere and Ashley had disappeared.

What if I never get to see her again?

As I returned to where Ryder and Cole were, frustration boiled inside me, and I felt an overwhelming urge to tear something apart or hit something—someone.

"You've finally driven her away for good. Whatever happens to her is on you," Ryder spat, referring to me. If Ryder knew how angry I was, I was certain he wouldn't open his mouth, let alone speak.

I turned to his voice and there he was, Ryder, looking smug.
