Several days had passed and Cyril managed to get a slot for the experimentation thanks to Valerie's help. He didn't even have to bribe her with a lesser healing potion at all.

Valerie only had to ask a few questions…

"Are you sure about this? Though there aren't reports that someone could die, there is a possibility… We are even expecting that there will be a few deaths once the experiment started…"

"I'm sure about this, Miss Valerie… I think that I have a good physique and I also have decent control with my Aura… Even if there are negative effects, it shouldn't cause too much damage on my body."

Valerie didn't really have a choice as well since it is indeed better to have higher-ranked Awakened participate. However, most of the people who are at this level wouldn't risk their lives in such an unsafe experiment.
