Bab 53: Two Sides Of Different Coins

The crowd cheered my name, a familiar sight that I had grown used to but I wasn't here for that reason, I was here simply because I needed to find a way to get rid of my dark impulses.

I stared at my opponent, I recognized him, he was one of the top fighters in the arena or would it be more accurate to say he was a renowned bodyguard of one of the crime bosses of the underworld but that meant I didn't need to hold back.

He charged at me and tried to land an uppercut, a direct approach to combat but that was what this place was, it welcomed all styles of fighting.

I took a step back to evade the blow but barely, he increased the speed of his punch halfway through so this threw me off as I had moved with the prior speed he had shown.
