Bab 79: Invitation.

Two hours later, as the teachers and Pussycats arrived, annoyed and impressed.

"This batch of students is absolutely phenomenal!" Pixie Bob, the blonde said excitedly.

"Especially you, the plain faced hunk. I call dibs! As soon you turn 18!" She said, making kissy sounds.

"Sorry to dash your hopes, but I already have a girlfriend. A pregnant one at that too! So I'm gonna be marrying her when I turn 18." I said, dropping the bombshell.

"What??!!" The class exclaimed.

Pixie's expression turned grim.

"Even 16 year olds are getting married before me! I'm never gonna get married!"

Meanwhile, Deku faces almost shattered into a thousand pieces.

"H-h-haru-chan!" He said, placing a shaking hand on my shoulder, "when were you going to tell me!?"

"Jeez, Deku. Your reaction's worse than Sir Nighteye's.

And he saw me and my girlfriend die at the hands of a villain in a couple of months!" I said, smiling mischievously, dropping the second bombshell.

"What?!!" Came another exclamation.

"Haru, is that true?" Aizawa-sensei asked.

"Yeah, she's three months pregnant now." I replied.

"No! The vision from Sir Nighteye. Is it true?" Aizawa-sensei specified.

"Yes. That too. Likely before the pregnancy is over. It happens somewhere in Yokohama if I recall right?" I answered nonchalantly.

"How can you be so casual about it? Sir Nighteye's visions are never wrong!" Deku said, grabbing hold of my shoulders, shaking me like medicine bottle.

"You can't be sure about that. He could be wrong too!" I assured.

"No. He's almost never wrong. He has a track record of it. He's only ever been wrong once in his whole career." Aizawa-sensei said.

"Yeah! How can you be so calm about this?" Iida asked.

"Well, I believe that the future can always be changed. No matter what, there's always a way out. And besides, I already moved Himiko out of Yokohama; as soon as Sir Nighteye told me about it. So there's no need to worry about it anymore!"

"Regardless, you're not allowed to go to Yokohama either. And no more vigilantism, not even under the guise of self defence, like you did in Hosu against the Hero Killer. If you see a villain, run the opposite direction. At least until the time of the vision passes." Aizawa-sensei warned.

"Yeah, no. I can't do that. If I see someone in trouble, I'm not going to run away like a coward." I replied.

Aizawa-sensei sighed, and let the matter go.

"Fine. We'll see about it later. Right now, it's time for lunch. Everyone, get your bags to your rooms and head into the hall, and take a seat. Lunch is in a half hour."

"What about class B?" Iida asked.

"They'll arrive tomorrow. Now go." Aizawa-sensei said.

After a short lunch, we were allowed to explore the surroundings, while he prepared our training grounds with the help of Pixie Bob.

As we exited the hall, Deku asked Mandalay.

"I've been wondering for a while now, but whose kid is that?"

"Oh! That's Kota. He's not our kid. He's my nephew. Say hi to everyone Kota!" She said, pushing him towards us.

"Tch. Stupid heroes." Kota muttered under his breath, as Deku stepped forward extending a handshake.

"Nice to meet you, Kota! I'm Izu-khuh!" Deku groaned in pain, as Kota punched him right in the nuts, eliciting a chuckle from Bakugo.

The boys in the class instinctively covered their groin as they felt sympathy for Deku.

"I don't want to be friends with idiots who want to be heroes!" Kota shouted angrily.

"You precicuous brat!" Iida scolded, as I pulled Deku back to his feet, while Kota stomped away.

"Sorry." Mandalay said, "He doesn't like heroes. It's just how he is. Please forgive him."

"Yea-h! It's alright!" Deku replied, giving a pained thumbs up.

"Say, Deku, I'm going to explore the mountain. You wanna come along?" I asked.

"Yeah, sure." He said, standing with wobbly legs.

Poor bastard! I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemies.

Oh wait, yes I would!

As we trekked up the mountain, Deku turned to me.

"Haru-chan about last week....I'm sorry." Deku said out of the blue.

"It's not your fault Deku. There was nothing you could have done." I assured.

"But if I..." He rebutted, when I interrupted him.

"No ifs, no buts. That's final. Let it go already!" I said, gripping his hand, and looking him right in the eyes.

What was he apologizing about?

For that we have to go back a week and a half, days after pool training.

After I brought Eri back from therapy, I was greeted by Himiko holding a letter and humming happily.

She looked like a snacc in that apron, like a hot mommy Himiko.

I walked up behind her and hugged her from behind, causing her to eep! cutely.

Planting a kiss on her cheek, I noticed the seal on the letter.

I-Island! The premier destination for all lovers of science and technology.

A veritable mechical utopia in the middle of the pacific.

And the location of the HeroAca movie, Two Heroes.

Looks like it was time to rob some tech from under the world's nose.

And it wasn't going to be AFO's goons doing the stealing this time.

Though I'd happily stake them up as the scapegoats for my actions.

"Is that for me?" I asked, innocently.

"Yep! They invited you to the premier of the I-expo, by name even!" She said, grinning from ear to ear.

"And what are you so happy about?" I asked, pinching her cheeks.

"Can't I be proud of your achievements?" She replied with a pout.

"Of course, you can! In fact, you know what? I'll bring you a souvenir from there. Anything you want!" I said.

"You know that you can take upto three people along right?" She said, with a hint hidden int he words.

"You have got to be joking. You can't be allowed to make a journey across the ocean when you're pregnant. I won't risk it!" I said, laying down the law.

"I'm three months pregnant, not in labor. Stop treating me like I'm made of porcelain!" Himiko complained.

"But then who'll take care of Haruto and Eri?" I asked.

"We'll bring them too! As I said, you can bring upto three people." She replied.

"But it'll bore the life out of them! It's a tech exhibit not an amusement park!" I objected.

"No. But it's also a place where we can get Haruto and Eri's quirks looked at. Haruto's been having problems with his quirk management, recently.

Maybe they can do something about it.

Besides, it's summer vacation for the both of them. This'll be good outing, like family bonding time!" She said.

"Fine. But you'll have to get my parents permission too." I said.

"Alright! But of they agree, you can't have any more objections, okay?" She replied.

As we walked in, my mother was pampering Eri with mangoes, hand feeding her like a baby.

"Say aah!" She said, as Eri opened her mouth wide, cutely chomping on the mango.

"Momma, Himiko has something to say." I said, interrupting her cuddle session.

She glared at me and put Eri off her lap, and asked.

"And what is that?"

Himiko pinched me in retribution.

"Couldn't have waited for her to finish?" She whispered, before turning to my mother and stating her case.

"NO!" My mother said, shooting her down.

"You can't be travelling overseas with a baby in your belly! And besides, we already planned a vacation to Hokkaido this summer. We even booked a ski resort already! I won't cancel the plans for a tech exhibit.

Besides, won't they be bored the whole time?"

"That's what I said!"

"Umu! But we almost never get to spend time with you, between the school and training. Can't I want a normal date with my boyfriend once in a while?" She whined.

I caressed her face gently, and kissed her forehead.

"I'll come back as fast as possible and then we'll go on a trip to the beach with just us, okay?" I said, patting her head.

"...okay." she said, blushing.

"Then that's settled." I said, picking up the letter from the table, and checking the date.

"Wait. The flight leaves tomorrow?!"

I exclaimed.

"I need to get some stuff done! Himiko, would you mind packing my clothes for me? I'll be back in about three hours. Five tops. Please and thanks." I said, kissing her, before she could react, as I dashed through the door.

I needed to get an accomplice, nay, the accomplice. And I had to do it quick.

I flew over to Musutafu at full speed, and arrived at a small cafe near the UA campus.

As I entered the cafe, I spotted her almost instantly, in the tiny maid outfit, manning the counter.

"Welcome! Oh, it's Haru-san!" She greeted.

"Hey! How's business doing around here?" I asked.

"It's doing well enough. Though the owner's health has gotten worse over the past few months." She answered.

"Say, would you be up for a small job?" I asked.

"By job you mean...something from down under?"

"Yes. I'm about to pull the biggest tech heist in the history of the world! You want in, Aiba?" I said, with a flourish.

"Ohoho! What's this about a heist?" A man in an adjacent table asked, turning around to face us.

I looked at him and instantly recognized him, his iconic white beard and wavy mustache were unmistakably unique after all.

Gentle Criminal!

After I fucked with the timeline, instead of being inspired by Gentle's videos, Manami Aiba was inspired by mine.

Using her hacking skills she tracked me down around the time of Himiko's trial.

And while I didn't outright reject or accept her help and not so small crush on me, I did get her a job in the cafe Gentle liked to visit, in the hopes of coercing him onto my side eventually. And today, it looked like the plan had succeeded.

"This is..?" I asked.

"Oh, he's a regular here. I never caught a name though, sorry." Aiba responded.

"No worries, young lady! It is I, Gentle Criminal! You might have heard of me!" He said, bowing fancily.

"Who?" Aiba asked.

"Akh!" He said, dramatically clutching at his chest.

"Ah! Right. You're that Utube villain that fails at every crime he commits aren't you?" I said, dealing the killing blow.

"Gaah!" He cried out, dramatically falling to the ground.

"Are you okay, sir?" Aiba asked.

"He's fine, he just likes to be a drama queen!" I explained.

"That is a grave insult towards a perfect gentleman such as me. As apology, let me in on your heist!" He demanded, with an accusing finger digging into my cheek.

"Yeah? What's your quirk? And how good are you at using it?" I said, pushing his hand off my face.

"Why don't you fight me outside and find out?" He said, with an angry grin, ticked off at being called a failure.

"Sure. There's an abandoned building nearby. Let's do it there." I said, cracking my knuckles.
