Bab 72: Fighting the Evil God

The halo behind the figure of the self-proclaimed true god shimmered intensely as he declared with unwavering conviction, "I proclaim myself the sole sovereign of divinity."

In the next instant, the air crackled, and countless ethereal chains, gleaming with a ghostly white luminescence, materialized and wound tightly around Set. Yet, these bindings seemed mere illusions against Set's indomitable presence, leaving him unscathed.

Undeterred, the evil god intensified his accusations, his voice booming across the celestial stage: "I denounce you as a pretender among gods!" His words resonated with a dark force, morphing into a chorus of myriad voices, men and women, old and young, all echoing the condemnation, bombarding Set with a cacophony of doubt and disdain.

"I declare you devoid of divine essence!" he thundered once more. Below, the crowd of believers fervently repeated the mantra, their faith fueling the incantation.
