Bab 384: No Such Plans

Gu Zi, upon realizing that the man before her was not Su Shen, chose to remain silent. She had no interest in why Gong Zhan was there. 

He was the male protagonist of the original novel, and he possessed an undeniably handsome face. However, with the presence of the dashing Su Shen, Gong Zhan's attractiveness held no sway over her. 

Gu Zi stood silently in place, even taking a large step back to create distance between them. 

Unable to bear the awkward silence any longer, Gong Zhan took the initiative to speak. "Gu Zi, aren't you going to invite me in?"

Gu Zi raised an eyebrow at his suggestive tone. She looked at him quizzically and replied honestly, "I have no such plans. Are you here to see me? What do you want? Speak plainly."

As a married woman, Gu Zi was very conscious of maintaining a certain distance. Her tone was decidedly aloof.
