THE RESURFACING OF THE DOOR TO HELL
We searched for a very long time along the seas on the coast but found nothing particularly out of the ordinary. So, our choppers flew further into the seas to check.
"Wait what is over there? It's not registered on the map", Chash told us as he pointed toward an island.
"This Island was not here before, it must have risen from the seabed recently", Sara said to us.
"We should check it out", I told them.
We alighted on the new island off the coast of Nymera and we went around the island to inspect the place. The Island wasn't out of the ordinary except there was a large lagoon lake in the middle of the island.
Eirot wanted to check out the lagoon when I stopped her.
"Remember the last time we checked a lagoon in these seas we were trapped by the Blood Queen. We must be careful", I told her.
In my previous life, we came across an island just like this and under the lagoon lake on the island was the Door to Rebirth.
"I'll signal our forces to come here to inspect", Sara said to us as she signaled our whalechoppers.
Our team of shamans and specialists alighted on the island and checked the lagoon but found no foul play here except there was something in the middle of the lagoon.
"There is no foul magic or arrayes in this lagoon except something in the middle at the bottom of the lagoon", a shaman told us.
"Dry the lagoon to see what is inside", I told Sara.
"Why can't you dry your own bloody lagoon?" she asked me irritated that I assigned work for her.
"Nobody has the ability to move waters like you", I replied to her.
"Tsunami"
Sara cast a Tsunami spell over the lagoon and soon the waters in the lagoon were whirled around before they were raised into the air. After the water was in the air, they were thrown into the sea, leaving the lagoon now emptied of water.
"The lake lagoon is emptied by her single spell. Who is she?" Eirot asked me.
"Didn't you know, she was once the body of our husband", Rinna told her to her shock and surprise.
In my previous life, after my soul was taken by the Door of Rebirth by the dark magic of the Blood Queen, my body remained behind. Surprisingly, she was still conscious and intelligent after she lost my soul.
"Why did Orion's body become a girl?" Eirot asked.
"It's her own choice", Rinna told us.
"What? A soulless body can have a choice?" Eirot asked.
"Sara is not soulless. When I repaired my damaged soul in the Sphinx of the Valhalla realm, I returned with two souls. One of them was me and the other was my twin in a sense who was dormant until my soul was extracted from her body", I explained to her.
"I am not your bloody twin", Sara said to me angrily.
"Should we check the lagoon?" Eirot asked us.
We went down the lake to inspect and to our horror we found something familiar.
"Isn't this the Door of Suffering in the Asura Underworld realm in Ouamua?" Rinna said to us.
It indeed was the Door of Suffering.
During the Holokauston, the Asura Underworld realm was broken, and its contents poured into this world and the Door of Suffering was probably sunk into the seabed.
For some reason, parts of the Asura realm were raised again after two hundred years, and the Door of Suffering appeared again on the surface of this world.
"Something is different with this Door. It is broken", Rinna said to us.
"What are these?" Meera said to us as she pointed to small crawlies under the sand.
"Hey, they are cute", Cassandra told us as she picked up one of the crawlies.
"Oucchhh"
Suddenly, the crawlies bit Cassandra. Soon, her face turned pale and reddish veins appeared all over his body.
"What is happening to me?" Cassandra asked us worriedly.
"Did the crawlies poison Cassandra?" I asked.
"No, she got the plague", Rinna told us suddenly.
"Damnit, those crawlies could be what caused the plague in Nymera", Sara told us.
We returned to the island to safer grounds where our shamans and healers looked after Cassandra.
We have found the reason for the demon plague. It came from the Door of Suffering that was broken which released cursed crawlies that could infest people in this world.
"What can we do to stop the plague and heal Cass?" I asked Rinna.
Rinna tried different methods and magic to cure Cassandra, but the plague wouldn't go.
"Am I going to die?" Cassandra asked us.
"You are an immortal, this bloody curse won't kill you", Sara replied to her.
"Let me see her", Eirot said to us as she went to Cassandra.
"Don't touch her, she is contagious", Rinna warned her, but she was too late.
Eirot was already holding Cassandra's hand.
"She is not sick, just possessed by a demon worm", Eirot told us.
"Can you save her?" I asked Eirot.
Eirot opened the realm to her soul, like how she claimed her demons. Like how she turned demons into her minions, she focused on the worm inside Cassandra.
"Arggghhhh"
Cassandra screamed as a worm suddenly crawled out from her hand. The demonic worm soon entered into Eirot's soul.
"What kind of demon worm is that?" I asked.
"Those are demonic worms that infest the surface of Hell. They live on demons mostly like a kind of parasite but when they infest humans, they cause plague-like symptoms in them because they are sucking away their energy", Alfred told us.
"What about the bloody crawlies in the lagoon, should I burn them all?" Sara asked us.
"That will not be necessary", Eirot replied to her.
Eirot then walked to the dried lagoon and opened her hands to embrace the air. Suddenly, all the crawly worms in the infested lagoon jumped out of the sand before they transformed into essences and joined Eirot's realm too.
