Wang Lan glanced at the old doctor and then at the stunned Director Li. "The Lin family is a VIP in this hospital. Letting my adopted daughter stay in such a ward is an insult to the Lin family!!"

"The Lin family?" The old doctor glanced at Wang Lan before looking at Director Li. "How are the VIP wards in our hospital used?"

Director Li stammered, not knowing what to say.

Wang Lan was not as timid as Director Li. "I don't care what the hospital rules are. Does the Lin family not even have this bit of right in this hospital?"

"Director Li, tell him about our Lin family!"

As Wang Lan spoke, she raised her chin, looking even more arrogant.

Director Li held his hands together and rubbed them nervously. "Um, Teacher Liang, this lady's condition is rather special, so…"

"I'm her attending doctor now. Can't I tell if she's special?" Doctor Liang stared at Director Li. "Or do you think my medical skills are bad?"
