After calming down, Gerard led the rest of them to his place that was close to the other end of the village that was not as damaged as the others.

Even Hunter was with them.

"Here have something to drink," Gerard handed Heather a cup of tea.

Heather silently accepted it and drank a few mouthfuls silently.

The others watched her closely, waiting for her to say something about her breakdown earlier.

"Can't you… relocate instead, village chief?"

And when she did open her mouth, Gerard was stunned to hear that question once again on the same day.

He had expected it from Adrian since that was how the military would see things the way they are now. The village is too far from civilization that coming here would take a bit of time for the military.

Sending help won't be as fast as compared to when they are in the city.

But he was a bit stunned that Heather was the one who asked because she knew how important this place is to them.
