That was the beginning of her nightmare. After their marriage, she finally realised that Feng Dongkai had serious, abusive tendencies. He left her covered in wounds and bruises everyday. She suffered three instances of miscarriage and her body was permanently harmed. She was no longer able to conceive.

The two years of messages, letters and feelings which he had poured into her were all faked. During their fights, she learned that he had spent money to pay someone to send those things to her. The only time he personally did anything for her was when they used to meet up.

Feng Dongkai then threatened her with her family's safety, preventing her from going for a divorce. He even kept a mistress outside and eventually had an illegitimate son with his mistress…
