At the thought that Fang Xinxin could have been poisoned or burned to death, the pain in his heart left him struggling to breathe.

For the past one day and a half, the worry had been driving him insane.

He had felt the urge to charge into the fire and die with Xinxin countless times.

However, he also knew that she was a strong girl. She had battled a shark in the ocean and taken good care of him even when they were on an uninhabited island.

She was such a capable, wonderful girl. How could she die just like that?

If she happened to still be alive, wouldn't he lose all hope of seeing her again if he killed himself?
