"...So, you still care about that child, don't you?" Isaac deduced this from Mrs. Kiara's winding conversation.

"I only care about myself! I don't want my efforts to be wasted."

Mrs. Kiara corrected Isaac seriously; she didn't like to appear too sentimental.
