Bab 67: Corruption Overlord

The crystal shattered, its dark energy dissipating into the air. The oppressive atmosphere lifted, and the forest seemed to breathe a sigh of relief as the corruption faded away. For a moment, we stood amidst the ruins, catching our breath and savoring our hard-earned victory.

However, our respite was short-lived. A deep, resonant rumble echoed through the ruins, and the ground beneath us trembled. The air grew thick with tension, and an overwhelming sense of dread settled over us.

"Stay alert!" I called out, gripping my sword tightly. "Something's not right."

As if on cue, the remaining shards of the crystal began to pulse with a sinister energy. They lifted into the air, coalescing into a swirling vortex of darkness. From this churning mass emerged a towering figure, cloaked in shadows and radiating an aura of malevolence.
