The sophisticated executive adjusted his gold-rimmed glasses. It was all that kid's fault yesterday, for actually breaking his nose, causing his glasses to constantly slide down from the bridge of his nose.
There was really no helping it, so the executive took a rubber band from the documents on his desk, tied it to the legs of his glasses, and then he managed to fix the glasses in place with difficulty.
"Director Zhang, what happened to your nose?" Qingcheng, sitting at one end of the conference table, asked the executive as she noticed his odd appearance.
"Oh, it's nothing, it's nothing," feeling somewhat guilty when the president asked, the executive replied, "I bumped into a wall last night because it was too dark to see clearly."
"Will your medical insurance cover it, or do you need me to process a work-related injury for you?" Qingcheng still asked with concern.
