As they watched, the atmosphere grew tense. A large man from the armed group slammed a fist on the table of weapons. "You think we're going to give you anything for this? You're lucky we don't take what we want by force!"
The other group looked nervous. A young man stepped forward, clutching a small bag of food. "We're just trying to survive! Can we work together?"
The big man laughed harshly. "Work together? You're better off hiding, kid." He waved his hand, telling his group to ignore them.
Caius frowned and leaned closer to Trent. "We need to get out of here. If they find us, we could be in trouble."
"I agree," Trent whispered. "But where do we go? This place is a maze, and we don't know it well."
"Maybe we should sneak around and find another exit," Mia suggested, glancing nervously around the room. "We can't stay here much longer."
"Let's do that," Caius said urgently. "We'll move while they're distracted."
