Noticing Yu Qiubai staring in Li Yuan's direction, Shen Xi cursed the d*mn fox in her mind. 

Yu Qiubai took another glance before saying. "Toffeecito's dad." 

It was a statement, not a question. 

Since she had been discovered and had no intentions to hide her relationship, Shen Xi nodded and acknowledged the fact. Shen then turned to Li Yuan and let out a bright smile. 

The mix of emotions reflected in Yu Qiubai's eyes disappeared in a flash and by the time Shen Xi turned her head back, he had pulled himself together. Yu Qiubai teased her with a smile. "Why didn't you let him sit here?" 

Shen Xi gave him a dirty look that he should know better. 

Yu Qiubai grinned. "Oh, I got it. You're afraid your mom will find out. Don't worry, your secret is safe with me." 

Although Yu Qiubai ascertained the identity of Toffeecito's dad long ago, to meet the actual person was still a shocker.
