Bab 85: Clash of Titans

A body was flung through the forbidden city walls, breaking a support column of one of the north five houses and finally rolling all the way through the street until it stopped at the hall of Heaven. The owner of the body picked himself up and spat a mouthful of blood and phlegm, cleaning his lips with the back of his hand.

“That hurt more than I thought.”

‘And whose brilliant idea was to get punched in the first place?’

’It’s not like I did that intentionally, I simply wanted to know where we were.’

The cobblestones in front of the temple creaked when another form landed heavily. The half-human, half-demon watched him hungrily, licking one of its many tentacles with a long, forked tongue.

“Your pain is delicious.”

Shen Mu raised an eyebrow, something in the voice of the demon sounded familiar. “How did you come in contact with the prince?”
