Bab 162: Reason 27: Grief

"Miss... Miss Annabeth?" The Emperor blinks his doubtful eyes a couple of times.

"Good evening, your majesty. It has been a long time." She calmly bowed, but the Emperor suddenly yelled at her with rage, "Where the hell have you been?!!!"

He clenches his hands on her shoulder and scold even more, "Do you know how much we have been looking for you?!! If you haven't been gone, Izzy would have... she would have... " his eyes began to tear as he couldn't finish the sentence that caused him pain.

"I'm sorry..." she apologized sincerely, "It wasn't my intention when I said I wanted to leave for a period. I have been trapped inside a magic stone until now. My goddaughter was the one who released me."

"Huh?" The Emperor raised a brow as he couldn't comprehend some of the info she shared.
