Bab 147: Confession 2

Huo Xiao and Shen You were staring at each other. For a moment, the air seemed to freeze.

Finally, Huo Xiao made the first move.

He coughed dryly and turned his head slightly to hide his embarrassment.

Shen You looked at his red ears and pursed her lips tightly.

Shen You tilted her head and looked at Huo Xiao. "What did you say? I was in a daze and didn't hear it clearly."

When Huo Xiao heard this, he turned to look at Shen You. "Were you asleep just now?"

Shen You nodded and said, "Yes! I felt someone behind me. I was frightened and woke up!"

Huo Xiao seemed to be relieved, and Shen You laughed in her heart.

"Did you say something just now?" Shen You asked again.

Huo Xiao's brows tightly knitted together. He hesitated for a moment and opened his mouth, but said, "No, you probably heard it wrong."

"Oh," Shen You said with some disappointment and did not continue to ask.
