"Chen Xinyi has some things to finish up," he explained smoothly. "She thought it'd be nice for you to have a good meal first, and I know just the place."

Li Na blinked, too tired to question it, simply nodding as she didn't have the energy to oppose.Her legs felt like lead, and a dull ache spread through her back, the kind that only a solid rest could cure. 

The idea of breakfast sounded more appealing by the second. As they walked out together, Yin Hao kept his pace steady beside her, every so often glancing her way, feeling a thrill in the knowledge that this quiet morning moment was theirs alone.

And though she might not notice, he'd taken meticulous care to arrange everything just perfectly—from the hidden table with a view of the sunrise to the warm, quiet ambiance of the restaurant he knew would suit her.
