Bab 57: Words From Eris

I was back in the office with Eris. As usual, she was there sitting on the sofa while reading a magazine in silence. She wasn't sprawled over either but was sitting properly this time, which is really strange. When did she ever shut up her mouth? I am more used to the Eris who keeps blabbing off her mouth instead of this current her. It just seems so wrong.

'Well, she was like this ever since morning anyway. I wonder what really happened.'

A few moments passed. I have not even started doing my work yet and just sat there staring at space. My mind was a mess, thinking of so many things.

Unconsciously, my hand went to my tummy and stopped there. Until now, I still could not believe that there is life growing inside me. Thinking back to all that has transpired so far, Keith had never really used any protection. So it wouldn't be impossible for it to bear results.

That was what I wanted anyway, to have his child.
