"So we are not enemies." Lyn raised her face from his shoulders. Her eyes were wide and desperate. 

So all those details did not matter to her; this is what she wanted to ask him. 

"Don't cry; it makes you look ugly."

"Be quiet."

"But either that guy got possessed, or they locked him up somewhere."

The one who proposed this mission was the guy Lyn saved. No matter how much power the others have, nobody but him would have been able to reverse that decision. 

"The culprit would have to be a high profile person with strong magic. Was that guy a mage?"

"Yeah."

"Then it is the second option."

"Huh?"
