Bab 600: It all makes sense

Her thoughts broke off when she felt heavy footsteps behind her.

She shuddered in fear.

It's not an enemy, but it's somebody equally as frightening. Pupilliam turned around to confirm her thoughts. Sure enough, there stood Rhys. 

There was a menacing look in his eyes as he scanned the room. His gaze fell on Lyn and flickered towards the missing space on her left.

In the next second, he was beside the Princess. Despite the frightening aura around him, Pupilliam spotted the pained gaze on his face.

Then she noticed him place a bracelet on her right wrist.

'Is that--?'

"Silly girl, you didn't have to come back for this. Look what happened to you as a result."

'So this is the reason why the Princess went back.' It seems the one Princess Lyn likes is Rhys, after all. But a part of her already understood that. At first, she didn't understand why Kazuya gave up the way he did; she even scolded him for it. But now it makes sense to her.
