Bab 630: Danger lurking in the shadows

A long time ago, he used to think 'love' was only for the privileged ones. Perhaps it was due to his fathers behaviour but he ended up with a trauma regarding love and marriage. He didn't believe in finding that one special person.

His fathers behaviour disgusted him. While it's normal to have many spouses in the Rain Kingdom. The way his father collected women left and right without a second thought bothered him. He collected them like they were trophies, and did not treat them as human beings.

But the moment he saw that little girl, something in his heart stirred. A feeling he did not understand emerged. After spending time with Lyn he thought, 'Ah is this what it means to have somebody special?'

They were only young, and they were not together for long. But he already decided then that he would protect her no matter what happens.
