Bab 466: At own risk

Shane felt empty and his mind was blank after everything had been concluded.

There were no living beasts in the surroundings, and only he, the members of the Astral Starlight faction, and the dead Myst stage corpses were left behind.

Because of that, Shane, who had subconsciously continued to heal the wounds he had inflicted to himself, was instinctively returning to the space door, ignoring the dead corpses.

He stole a fleeting glance at Aisha, who was now lying in Frer's arm.

The young woman was crying bitterly, in disbelief that her best friend had just been killed and it was not before more than 10 minutes had passed that one of the surviving Valkyries lightly tapped Frer's shoulder.

She had instinctively flinched, only to look at her sworn sister, who shook her head faintly.
