Kara blushed at Garnt's scolding but complied, sitting obediently as he fetched a cloth and soap. The steam curled around them, creating an intimate atmosphere in the secluded bathing room.

Garnt approached with purpose, his hands deftly working the soap into a lather. "Honestly, Kara, you come back covered in blood every time. You should be more careful because I heard that even blood can spread diseases that are not good."

She chuckled nervously. "I'm sorry, Garnt. It's the nature of the job. I will try to be careful."

Garnt grunted, his strong hands beginning to massage her shoulders. "Doesn't mean you can't take care of yourself, I know about hunting because I used to be a hunter to feed us when we were small. Now, sit still."
