Bab 224: Stroll to the lake(R-18)

Under the gentle glow of the moonlight, Garnt and Telvi walked hand in hand, their steps guided by the shimmering path cast upon the forest floor. Telvi's worry etched deep lines upon her brow as they ventured deeper into the woods.

"Garnt, isn't it dangerous to be out here at night?" Telvi's voice trembled with apprehension as she glanced nervously around the shadowed canopy.

Garnt squeezed her hand reassuringly, a confident smile playing upon his lips. "Don't be scared, Telvi. I am strong, and I will protect you," he assured her, his tone unwavering. "Besides lake is not too far from here. It's the exact same reason why we choose this cave instead of any other, after all, without water there's no living,"

Telvi's gaze softened, her eyes reflecting both uncertainty and gratitude as she looked up at him. "What about the new power you gained? Are you sure you're alright?" she asked, her concern palpable.
