Bab 5: New Beginning

'Should I go or stay?' Once All Might chased the villains, Mio was thinking to just leave, but since she said she knew his identity. She rejected the idea, and decided to wait, not even a minute later, All might returned, with a pile of villain on his biceps and with his big smile on his face.

All Might noticed Mio still there on a chair, and he was happy, happy that Mio stayed and not run off.

All Might understood from their first encounter. Even if he seems gullible, he will try to understand what type of person she is.

Approaching Mio, he put his hand forward with his thumb up and a smile, said "All solved."

Mio was watching him approaching her, with amusing tone she said "Is that all of them? I hope you didn't let one of them, run off."

Hearing Mio, All Might replied "Don't worry, the police came and took the rest of them away." he then looked at Mio in the eyes with stern expression and continued "But I would like to ask some few questions, if you don't mind it."

Mio knew that All Might will question her after she found out about his identity, and there are other reasons why she didn't want leave.

So looking at him, Mio said"No, not at all, so what is the question." Hearing her accepting it, All Might let out a sigh of relief and then started with the first and most important question "How did you recognize me in that form?"

Mio did not expect that he will question this first, in her head she thought about "Why are you here?" Or "Are you alright.", she was also prepared for many other question that could have been asked by the hero, but didn't expect this one to be the first.

Mio has no idea, how important that question was to All Might.

Then with a playful tone, she started spouting some lies "Why shouldn't I have recognized? The tone of your voice can be different, but similar if you listen very carefully, moreover." looking and pointing at the two tufts above the hero head "Those highlights you."."

After some seconds, she added "And if you hadn't approached me, I wouldn't have recognized you in the least."

All Might did not expect this answer. He has made the biggest mistake in history. He said "I understand." to only recover shortly after "Anyway, let's get out of here."

Thus, Mio and All Might, who in the meantime collected all the criminals that he got on the ground, left the warehouse. Outside Mio saw police cars with their lights on and dozens of police officers carrying the remaining villains outside of the warehouse.

All might bent his knee and laid the pile of villain he carried on his shoulders.

Seeing All might come out of the warehouse, a man in beige tan overcoat, a fedora style hat, underneath he wears a black suit, a green tie at his neck with matching slacks and dress shoes headed towards him. All Might seeing coming, with his smile on his face, turned to the man, said, "Naomasa, what a surprise to see you there."

The man, named Naomasa simply replied "Me too, as soon as I heard that you were able to put this hiding place down, I rushed with my colleagues." As soon as he finished, he noticed Mio and, so, acting as a gentleman. He take off his hat, and said "It's a pleasure to meet you, my lady."

Seeing the gesture of the man, Mio greeted him too by bending her legs "It's a pleasure for me too, Mr. Naomasa?"

Naomasa simply reply "Naomasa Tsukauchi, my lady."

After their exchange, All Might seeing that he doesn't know the name of the girl he saved, so with a cough to hide his embarrassment, he asked "Not to be rude or any, but could you tell me your name?"

Hearing All Might, Mio reply with a smile "How rude of me, my name is Mio Takamiya, All Might." After getting answer, he asked in a serious tone "Can I know why you were in this place?"

The question asked by All Might has blocked Mio a bit in answering. So without losing her posture she simply replied in a fake dark tone "Revenge."

All Might and Naomasa also noticed that something in Mio was wrong. Still, they could not begin to question her so openly when she did nothing wrong, apart from the illegal possession of arms if All Might remember correctly.

But even if the answer seemed false, the fact that she owned weapon and had infiltrated inside, made they think that there was motivation.

So in a caution tone, All Might asked Mio "Do you have any relative we can contact?"

Hearing the question, she immediately managed to connect the tread of the speech and where it was going, then with a fake sad tone, she replied "Nobody"

Seeing Mio emotion, All Might shows his smile toward Mio, who, in the meantime, has raised her head and keeping a wounded expression, said "Mio, in the darkest day, hope is something you give yourself. That is the meaning of inner strength, and you, Mio Takamiya, even if you decided to follow the path of revenge, you didn't abandon yourself."

Mio look at him with a shocking face, she didn't expect this speech from the man himself. She repeated in her mind and understood that even if she lies, she needed to go forward to her new life.

All Might then place his hand on Mio shoulder and said "Remember, you are not alone, there are certain people who are grateful to you, don't forget that."

Hearing All Might, Mio looked at the hero and left a small smile, a small but real one, seeing this All Might laughed. "See? Don't you find that life is more colorful now?"

Mio simply answer "Yes, yes it is."
